“A new discovery while in Keene this morning. Our breakfast was freshly prepared with great care. My sandwich was perfect, and my friend’s crepes were exceptional. Cordial proprietors, clean and relaxed atmosphere and excellent coffee. Next time I’ll try some of the European specialties!.”

Fresh Day Cafe grew from a family recipe box carried across the Atlantic. Owner and chief baker Jana makes everything from scratch — the way it was done at home in Slovakia.

What started as weekend pierogi for friends became a beloved Monadnock-region gathering place.
